I have an old Smith & Wesson Model 38 (no dash) Bodyguard Airweight, serial number 36XXX. They also make it in a stainless steel version in 357 mag for folks who want a little more power on tap! There is a hidden hammer that can be activated if you choose for target work or a more controled fire. You can hide it in a jacket or pants pocket and not have to worry about the hammer snagging on your coat or pants when pulling the revolver when needed. Its not pretty but it does have a dual purpose. This is an interesting revolver that has had a long life and is still selling. This smith & wesson revolver is a.38 special caliber. A model 37 is a Chiefs Special Airweight.
